Support pours in as members decide next steps

Tomorrow Unite members at Fujitsu Manchester are meeting to decide the next steps in our dispute over pay, pensions and job security, having already taken five days of strike action and with action short of strike ongoing.

Messages of support continue to pour in, along with contributions to our strike fund. They make inspiring reading. If you want to send support or money, the details are here.

Tomorrow’s meeting follows an oversubscribed national call with hundreds of members on Monday to discuss the job cuts. The presentation is available on the Fujitsu intranet. Unite is encouraging members outside Manchester to stand for the “Collective Consultation Group” (CCG) which Fujitsu plans to use for consultation over TUPE and redundancies during the current job cuts. The deadline for submitting nominations is 5pm tomorrow (Wednesday 23rd November)
