Fujitsu Manchester – the strike is ON

Though there were some useful discussions in today’s negotiations between Fujitsu and Unite over the pay, pensions and job security dispute, there is not yet any offer from the company and little indication of movement on the issues. The strike on Saturday, Sunday and Monday is therefore going ahead.

  • 11am Saturday 10th December: Meet at Market Street Metrolink station to leaflet Fujitsu retail customers
  • 2pm Saturday 10th December: Solidarity Rally, Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester, M2 5NS (behind Central library, nearest Metrolink stop is St Peter’s Square). Leaflet. Facebook event.
  • Noon, Sunday 11th December: Meet at Market Street Metrolink station to leaflet Fujitsu retail customers
  • 7-10am, Monday 12th December: Picket at Fujitsu, Central Park, Northampton Road, Manchester, M40 5BP (opposite Central Park Metrolink station)
  • Noon, Monday 12th December: Meet at Market Street Metrolink station to leaflet Fujitsu retail customers
